Shibaura Vertical Turning Machines now available from
Leader CNC Technologies Ltd and Webster & Bennett Ltd
Leader CNC Technologies Limited, based in Nuneaton and Main European Dealer for Shibaura Machine Company Limited, are pleased to announce their association with Birmingham based Webster & Bennett Limited for the sale and support of new Shibaura vertical turning machines.
Leader CNC Technologies Limited has been the European Main Dealer for Shibaura Machine (previously Toshiba Machine) for more than 20 years, with multiple installations within the UK and across Europe.
The relationship between Leader CNC Technologies Ltd and Shibaura Machine Co Ltd extends beyond that to more than 30 years through the founder of Leader CNC Technologies Ltd & Managing Director – Rob Prosser and the Sales Director – Mike Serzeniewski.
In association with Leader CNC, Webster Bennett Ltd, the world’s oldest supplier of vertical turning machines, are now able to supply the Shibaura range of world class turning machines to its extensive installed user base.
Since its foundation in 1887, Webster & Bennett Ltd have led the way with turning centres and still have the one of largest installed bases of manual & CNC vertical turning machines. Since the manufacture of new Webster & Bennett machines ceased in 2008 and now only being able to offer refurbished, overhauled or rebuilt machines, the company has agreed to expand its offering to customers by way of association with Leader CNC Technologies Ltd, with mutual benefit to both parties and their customers.
Between them, Shibaura and Webster & Bennett have over 275 years’ experience of manufacturing heavy duty machine tools which are renowned worldwide for their unmatched robustness, reliability and accuracy.
“The first existing Webster & Bennett customer will be taking delivery of their new Shibaura TUE 200s during June 2021 with several more likely to follow during the remainder of 2021 and into early 2022.”
Full service, installation and backup on Shibaura and Webster & Bennett machine tools, as well as part exchanges for older machines, will be available via this new and exciting association between these two market-leading machine tool companies.
